How it all began

The idea for AbleTalks arose over a dinner conversation, as Nancy E. Wells sat listening to a group of young adults discussing being autistic.

Each time, the conversation returned to how often people with autism are sold short on their abilities and aspirations. Their goals were bigger than mere employment… they recognized there were barriers, but they desired careers that punctuate their talents and interests.

In 2015, Nancy E. Wells founded AbleTalks with the goal of establishing better opportunities for young adults with autism and other disabilities.
